You people really fell for this low brow, overly simplistic concept that merely plays on a basic human emotion.
There is no deep meaning to this film. It's not some clever attempt to make the audience imagination take over. It's just empty also-ran movie content that tells you how desperate the industry is for new ideas.
I wish we could kill off most of the crap coming out of hollywood like this, to increase the SNR ratio.
I'm sure there are some artsy fartz types out there who will try to pretend that they see more in this by merely projecting something from their own live or movie experiences, but a good film should not need you to fill the voids like that.
<sigh> Kids you're all going to die and there's no voting necessary. That's life.
