Did anyone else notice there's a mistake? The husband in the beginning said that they'll first try taking him, not his wife (Julie Benz), but later they both admited that they're not real. So, husband said that they should to kill Julie Benz because she's was liar.

There's no mistake. Craig was the one who started the lie. When caught, he tried to blame his fake wife for it, in hopes that they'd kill her instead of him.
shareYou're missing the point. Since he was faking, why would he volunteer himself to die? Suppose they said "ok" and then he would have died. Either for volunteering or lying about being married.
shareJust a tactic to garner sympathy, by offering himself over his wife people would not vote for him (or her).
