Why did she want to kill her own daughter towards the end of the movie when she has proved herself to her over and over again?

Because Cruella would inherit everything.

She didn't like her. She didn't like anyone. Cruella upstaged her AND was the rightful heir. The Baroness was not a good person, did you miss that?

I know she wasn't a good person but killing your own daughter after she did everything to try to impress you crosses a line.

She was willing to have an INFANT killed, but shoving her off a cliff crosses a line, LOL?!

I thought the movie did a piss poor job developing the Baroness. We're just supposed to be accept that she's the most evil horrible villain person in the world and presented little evidence to back it up. She has her dogs kill an annoying scrub shaking her down for money, tries to get rid of a problematic baby, and stages a murder with some arson. These things would barely make you a bad guy on an episode of Law and Order.
