After all, if Disney was actually against smoking, what better way to make kids hate it than associate it with a puppy killier?

Disney execs handed down an order in 2007 that smoking and tobacco use would no longer be depicted in ALL future projects. That's one of the reasons why Wolverine of the X-Men who is known for his cigars since the character debuted in the comics no longer smokes.
