I've really come to like and admire the fans on this board; we mostly managed to ignore trolling and didn't aggressively pick fights with anyone. TLMOE is so different from everything else out there, but also inconsistent in terms of quality, so having a community to discuss it with really enhances the experience.
If you folks are planning on moving to another site, do let me know. :-)
Well put -- I've really enjoyed being able to share my enthusiasm about the show with fellow fans, process and sort out what has or hasn't been working for me, answer criticisms and questions from others who (like me) actually wanted civil and respectful discussion, vent occasional frustrations, tease upcoming episodes, share news / interviews / trivia / network schedules and listings, and even speculate / predict where the story might go. (This past fall, I also started doing the same with the freshman ABC family comedy Speechless; though that show isn't in a serialized format like LMOE, I've sort of been following the developments of one-on-one relationship dynamics among its 6 main characters, as well as absorbing different perspectives from posters who are much more knowledgable than myself about cerebral palsy and the disability community.) I will certainly miss all of that!
I've been considering joining Previously.TV forums for both shows; I haven't checked the LMOE one since season 2, but they mostly seemed to complain about everything over there.

I checked out Previously.TV. Seems a little less disorganised than the AVClub comments section (which I'd been considering) but it doesn't have IMDB's simplicity or straightforwardness. I'll take what I can get though! Hope I run into you there!
Well, it looks like Previously.tv is a no-go, as they're not even me letting register unless I can pass the Security Check -- but the "Security Check" isn't showing up on my computer, so I can't do anything about it. It could be that my browser isn't compatible with their login/register function, but I just sent a feedback e-mail to let them know about the problem...
EDIT: I was right about my Safari being out-of-date, but Google Chrome works for now.
