What Kurts dead face and head looked like

As soon as the greenhouse photos were posted online I looked at them. ALL of them. Kurts face and head were not that badly distorted. It's possible to tell who it is.

His head is elongated and the face somewhat sunken in, like squashing a playdoh egg shape ball a bit. In other shotgun to head photos I've seen online the person is really *beep* up. Face blown off. Back of head splattered everywhere. Head parts missing. Not with Kurt however.

I felt a deep sense of sadness seeing him lying there. i wanted to comfort him and beat the Hell out of some female we all know.

Do look at the photos. Im pretty jaded about gore, I was an EMT for awhile. But, nothing in the pics is really that gory.

There's no pictures of Kurt's head or face online. There are fakes that have circulated over the years. However, we do know that there was a viewing of his body before his cremation and that there was no exit wound so the damage to the head was rather trivial.

I went to the funeral home to say goodbye and it was hard to see him like that. They fixed him ok, but you could see his head was busted up. They folded a kerchief over his eyes and forehead. I held his hand and it was so cold. I left feeling really bad. I drove home alone and out of habit I tuned on the CD player. The Pixes tune sang “Break my body, hold my bones, hold my bones.” I gasped as if my heart stopped so I turned it off. I got home and thought I was going crazy. Even after like 20 times at the sink, I couldn’t wash that cold off my hands. I called Dave and he said I wasn’t going crazy and that it was shock I was experiencing. That realization made me feel a little better. I crawled to bed dazed".

Haven't detectives and other medical examiners said that his head wasn't blown and his brains all over the place like a lot of people seem to think and that his head was pretty intact?

Depends on what gauge and type of shotgun shells were used.
