The "R" rating

A lot of expectations on how James Mangold and Hugh Jackman will deliver a movie with an R-rating.

Twitter exchange re the issue of how the concept of violence will be portrayed --

@mang0ld what do you mean by "hyper choreographed" in that script? I've seen people take it so many different ways.

@SomeRPGFanboy The combo of modern cg, fight choreo, wire work etc has yielded some soulless spectacle. Violence w/o consequence = numbing.

@mang0ld @SomeRPGFanboy You better follow thru on this promise. Realism in a comic film? Excited to see if that's really the case.

@dontbefnserious @SomeRPGFanboy I agree its an exciting idea. You will be the judge if I succeed.

Many filmsites have observed that one of the images released from the film project is highly indicative of why this movie will be rated "R" --

Huzzah! 

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

They left it too late to make Wolverine what he always was. And I have to laugh at whatever form of "violence" will be introduced in this final instalment.
