It makes no sense when they make R rated movies in mostly PG-13 rated franchises.


In the previous X-Men movies, people were killed with no blood, and they didn't swear in situations when people probably would swear in real life. Yet that's not the case in this movie. It's like the universe has completely changed.

The ‘universe’ had changed by the time this story happens. Most of the Mutants are dead or dispersed and the once nearly invincible Wolverine is aging, growing weaker and starting to realize he’s mortal.

I greatly enjoyed the darker and crueler tone of this one, there was a real sense of risk in every moment of violence.

I think they need to go back to making movies that are PG-13 and then have an unrated cut as well. That was a regular thing for quite a while. Even rated R movies had an uncut version.

To my knowledge the Old Man Logan comic was done in a more darker and graphic tone so it fits for the R rating.
