I just finished Iron Fist yesterday...
I enjoyed it...thats about all I can say
I didn't love it, IMO its by far Marvel/Netflixs weakest efforts in these series.
I'm not hard to please,I'm not like a critic...usually just give me some good action and I'm fine even if the story is bad. thats what I was expecting with Iron Fist...I figured I'd enjoy it for the action sequences but it would have a weak/bad story and characters
but it turned out the exact opposite...With Iron Fist, The Action Sequences were Brutally Awful, Literally some of the worst I've ever seen, by The 3rd episode I literally dreaded every time one would start....but what kept me watching and what I really enjoyed was The Characters and Story, Ward,Joy,Harold and Colleen are fantastic and have great arks, The story and plot is slightly above average but good enough.
unfortunately Fin Jones as Danny Randy isn't one of the great characters in the show, Fin Jones is clearly a miscast and you just can't get past it.
My ranking or the Netflix series are-
Daredevil Season 1---9.5/10
Jessica Jones Season 1---9.5/10
Daredevil Season 2---9/10
Iron Fist Season 1---7.5/10
Luke Cage Season 1----7/10
I can't recommend Jessica Jones enough...I went into the show not caring about it all, but I was hooked half way through the first episode...Its got An EXCELLENT villain, Great story/plot, Great Characters and keeps you thinking. not a lot of action, but it really doesn't need it.
Jessica Jones is my favorite of the netflix series so far

Hi, I agree with every point you have made actually. I enjoyed iron Fist but it clearly is without its problems. I hope the people behind the show listen to its critics because it is not a show without hope. It can still be made vastly better if improvements are made for the second season.
I also agree that the action and fight scenes harm the show because this is a show so reliant on them, the entire theme is a mystical kung fu film, and if it fails that, then what does it have?
I also agree with your issues with Finn though I won't elaborate on it as I have done it so many times in other threads. And I also agree with you whole heartedly that the side characters and plot does recommend the show despite of its issues.
I have yet to see Jessica Jones but thank you for the big thumbs up! i will give it a go!

Me too and from what I've read it looks like there is going to be a 2nd season.
Iron Fist is apparently a HUGE hit for netflix, It ahead of both Jessica Jones and Luke Cage in terms of downloads and streams and Its also getting support from fans, as you said Everyone seems to be disappointed by the action sequences but at least with fans they are still enjoying the series for other reasons...basically fans aren't having the same overwhelmingly negative reaction as Critics did....With Critics they seemed to hate everything about the series, But with fans, they are finding things to like in the series despite AWFUL action sequences
I imagine Well get a 2nd season in late 2018ish
Marvel and Netflix really has something special going here, They build quite A Cinematic Universe with these TV series and if They keep up the Quality of the series...and over the next 5 to 8 years, we could end up getting 3 to 5 season each of Daredevil,Jessica Jones,Luke Cage,Iron Fist, The Punisher and The Defenders

Late 2018 is a long way to go, I hope that would give them enough time to polish many of the problems with the show. I haven't really been reading any critic review of the show, only what fans say about it here so I hope whoever the show runners listen to, they heed some of the advice.
I also heard Netflix has a deal with the new Star Trek show and are rumoredly furious with all the delays and problems as well.
