The acting, the story and the soundtrack make this one worth watching.
Other than that, I found the storytelling, directing and overall film making to be very cliched and derivative.
Every single shot felt like it was taken straight out of another film.
Also the main kid became very unlikable and annoying.
And who was the kid narativing and WTF did he have to do with the story?
It was very pretentious.
But overall and entertaining film.
i liked it mostly
but the end did nothing for me. very unsatisfying
i do agree that first kiss scene looked stolen right out of The Girl Next Door
I enjoyed it and the performances were good. I mostly watched it for the beautiful and wonderful Maika Monroe. It's definitely a 7/10 movie for me
shareWatched it this morning & the Bong Rip scene was the Best. If we're comparing it I'd say "amongst friends" with that East coast feel, the Girls were great & the Strom was a nice Kicker, I to went & saw Terminator 2 on the Big Screen in the Summer of 91
shareThere was no story. The ending was inevitable. The kid was stupid. “I’m keeping your money, because I can. You’re weak and you’re stupid.” Bill Fichtner WAS the movie, what there was of it.
