Are you Serious Right Now?

I have nothing against Nicki Minaj here, but did they seriously have to put "Anaconda" (especially the line with the "Oh my God, look at her butt!" line with those rabbits shaking their behinds) in a trailer for a film for families and children? 

I saw this trailer today while watching Fantastic Beasts (great film) and I literally facepalmed. I'm sorry but Anaconda, whilst catchy, is inappropriate for children.

Seriously, I think the MMPA's movie standards are slipping nowadays, even the other promo with it had stuff that made me cringe inside and something that didn't look family/kid friendly, like they're slipping mature stuff in PG rated films...

Then again this movie looks like a Zootopia rip-off, and I think it's going to be garbage (honestly in my opinion, though I'm trying not to hold the latter against this, Zootopia looked really overhyped and Secret Life of Pets to me was "meh").

And I think using all these pop songs definitely is going to make the film end up outdated later on...feh.

Is it just me also, or are animated movies (with the exception of ones like Finding Dory and Inside Out) getting worse? If that's the case, I can't wait for the Dragon's Lair film that's coming out.

I think Anaconda is a little bit inappropriate. I know little kids aren't going to get it, but we don't need five-year-olds running around singing "look at her butt".

I think animated movies on the whole are pretty good, or at the very least okay. I can't wait to see Moana next week.

Agreed, we don't need that.

I think Moana looks awesome from what I've seen of the trailers. The characters look likeable and the scenery and animation are beautiful.

Yeah that whole scene in the trailer was a bit awkward to watch with my younger siblings sitting next to me. I really don't think this movie looks all that great anyways.

I don't think it's even going to be that great also, just a generic story we've seen in all other kids' movies. Sheesh, it looks like Disney and Pixar are the only one producing good animated films now (even with misfires like Brave, Cars 2 and Good Dinosaur)...whilst it looks like Illumination is pandering to people who like toilet humor and lowbrow stuff...I've heard Moana is great though.

Wow, I'm lame. I thought they were doing 'Baby Got Back'. It still confused me as to why they would include it.

I've heard that's what the song originally was called, but I've never heard "Baby Got Back".

I think I know why they did this, to try to get adults to laugh, but failing miserably in the process. And seriously, having the bunnies twerk? Ugh, having that in the Powerpuff Girls reboot was bad enough (yeah, Blossom and Bubbles were doing that with a panda in there), especially considering Blossom and Bubbles were underage...

"Anaconda" does take some lyrics from "Baby Got Back."
