The last 2 Thor films have been really lack-luster and much of a bore. I REALLY hope that this one does better than the last two.

They're okay but you're kinda of right. They ought to have been these sprawling fantasy epics but instead we got fish out of water shenanigans.
What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
I think they are going all out for this one.
I like the 1st Thor, I don't care for the 2nd(it has some enjoyable parts, but not enough for me to like it).
