With the rumors of him losing his powers, he might need it for extra protection. Imagine him wearing it in the gladiatorial arena when he faces off against Hulk, wielding an axe. Pretty cool.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

I hope he wears it for a final battle scene. Sort of how Captain America put on his WW2 uniform for the climax of CA:WS. I thought it looked really "heroic" in the first Thor film.

Ahhh man, they're gonna strip Thor's powers away in his last movie? Why do they do this crap?
