Wow! Thor 3 beat crappy Justice League and the Best DCEU can throw: WW.

A Thor movie? A comedy? all DCEU beaten by it? What an humiliation.

Aquaman will be the first 3 billion dolllor movie, then you Marveltards will cry out your asses, LOL

reply

Well, I don't think that a win that will happen in eleven months from now will cover for the 9 years of butthurt pain and psychological damage of the DC fanboys. 9 fricking years, yeah!!!

reply

I don't think even if DCEU was massively popular Aquaman would have much of a chance of reaching what WW made let alone 3 bil..

Let me clear my throat and respond like an adult who’s living in reality.

Really? You didn't see the same movie I did: "Thor: Ragnarok" is easily the best of the three Thor flicks. It has the most compelling plot, the most interesting guest stars, and adds a little more humor to the proceedings while keeping a nice balance between the amusing parts and the serious ones. Some parts are even moving, like The Executioner’s story arc, whilst some are profound (e.g. Odin’s revelation about Asgard).

Blanchett is utterly badaxx (even hot) as the villainess and, believe it or not, this is the best depiction of the Hulk yet on the screen. He has more dialogue in "Ragnarok" than in his four previous appearances on the big screen combined (i.e. “Hulk,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Avengers” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron”). In addition, the guest appearance by Dr. Strange is exceptional.

Like “Captain America: Civil War” (2016), Marvel just knocked it out of the ballpark with "Ragnarok."

If the person you're responding to is a DC fanboy, and there are plenty on this board, then he has no sense of humor. I don't understand why 100% of the serious DC fanboys have no sense of humor and object to anything fun or funny in comic book movies, but that's how things stand.

reply

Then he must've hated those four Batman flicks from 1989-97, not mention the Superman ones with Christopher Reeves. But I suppose those are considered ancient history.

reply

They all seem to be obsessive about the joyless Nolan Batman flicks, much more than the earlier ones.

They never show up on the "Superman" boards.

reply

It just goes to show - there's always a market for fun movies full of hot guys.

A comedy cum all over "darker" DCEU... A comedy?
