something I'd love to see at the end of the final episode

I think it would be nice if, at the end of the final episode, they showed a list or something of what happened to everyone. I know a lot of the Mercury Seven are gone, but John & Annie Glenn and Betty Grissom are still living.

Rene Carpenter is still alive too. They are the last of the Mercury 7 and their wives who are still living. Jo Schirra died just a few months ago.

I was thinking the same thing about the finale, something just mentioning a little about what happened to each of them. I don't know if they are going to have time though, they have to fit in both Apollo 11 and 13 in the finale plus a lot of personal drama away from the flights.

To really wrap up the main character's stories, they also need to cover Apollo 14 (Alan Shepard) and the Apollo/Soyuz mission (Deke Slayton).

Not sure how they are going to do all of this in one more episode...

They don't need to cover Apollo/Soyuz. It barely got any press when it happened. I was an Apollo baby and was still religiously following the program through Skylab--I even got to go to a "kid's press conference" with one of the Skylab crews--and I remember how that program was regarded as a political stunt by the media.
