Is this too much for the ADHD Transformers/Marvel crowd?

Are people missing the point of cinema?

Reading some of the new replies to old, legacy posts I can help but think that people don't know how to watch a movie anymore...

From the expected "too slow" and "nothing happens" comments to the inane posts trying to 'solve' the movie as if it was an Agatha Christie or Sherlock Holmes puzzle...

This is such a good movie... The subtle acting, the unintrusive directing, the way the layers of their relationship are exposed as the movie goes on, without the characters narrating what we are seeing... the powerful, yet quiet last scene... It's the kind of movie you just let wash over you and feel that you have experienced something by the end...

I can't imagine someone watching this film without wanting to discuss it afterwards, what it means to commit to sharing your life with someone, to know someone and how different it is from possessing them... and what it means to be known and possessed in turn...

So good... But where is the discussion?! Have people simply not seen this?

I like Marvel films and I like this film (OK, I confess I draw the line at Transformers but then I'm not a ten year old). But I suspect many of the comments are from relatively few people who have each started thier own thread to blurt out an instant response - I mean they couldn't even take 5 seconds to scan the existing posts and join a near identical thread!

I have an official diagnosis of ADHD and had no problem enjoying this.
