I actually got emotional when... (SPOILERS)

...Ivy died in Batman's arms. The whole series has been hinting that Batman has more of a relationship with his adversaries than his friends, and this surprisingly touching scene was pitch-perfect. I'm going to miss this series.

And nowhere was that clearly evidenced than his relationship with Joker.

Batman certainly swears by the saying, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

It was aggravating how he valued the criminals lives more than the innocent citizens of Gotham.

I never got that vibe. What irked me is that he was more depressed about Joker's death than Talia's. It made for a more interesting dynamic, but all-in-all I still think it was out of character.
