I never liked Ms. Ferlito in CSI and I do not think she is a good fit this show. This show has always been on the bubble to me. I am a big fan of Scott Bakula, and that has kept me in it. They already added a "hard chick" character with Shalita Grant. And then they tried to do that forced romance with LaSalle. Which has zero chemistry. They do not need two hard chick types on the team. Brody was the softer side. I was not a huge fan of that actress but now I wish she was still there.

Jan 2017- I am bummed out. I am finding myself skipping ahead on these episodes with her in it. I am not sure I can stick with this if they make her a permanent part of the team. Which it looks like is going to happen.

Really, I do also really miss Brody. This new woman just always looks like she is looking down her nose at us. Yes, I am from New Orleans, so we are a bit sensitive but, how can she see past those big fake lips, I don't know? But wait, oh please I am not one of those trolls. I am not putting her, as an actress down, just the way they are portraying her.

Perhaps the producers got tired of people criticizing the fake accents so they wanted someone with a real accent but they could not find someone with an authentic southern accent. (I am sure there are thousands of southerners that would disagree with that.) So they went with someone with an authentic New York accent.

Does that explain why they chose her?

Over here in Britain we haven't seen her in many episodes yet, but I really don't like her. I was hoping she was only temporary but it sounds like she might be in it permanently. It dawned on me the other night who she reminds me of, Janice Muppet! Why anyone would do that to their lips is beyond me.

Only posters that don't like her will post here, she has many fans, I think she's a perfect fit in the series, but when they made that bumbling idiot "lanky pants" an agent and gave him the lead last night, the show took a dive, I hope they get rid of him

Love Vanessa! She makes a great addition to this great cast.

Did you know Ferlito is a lesbian? Season four. And in real life Sonia Percy is a lesbian. Interesting.
