Why the huge change in Henry's character in Season 3?

I don't understand why Henry has become so stupid and kind of arrogant this season.

What happened to the sincerity at the end of Season 2 when he stood up to Ray when Jasper discovered the secret?

Now it's the "Henry and Ray" show - watch us act really goofy. Alot of the action now happens off screen.

The best they could do in the long awaited season premiere was have them dress up as clowns?

Some of the new episodes just...end...like they ran out of ideas.

Piper was well on her way to being redeemed for being so shrill in Season 1 - and now she's right back to being ugly and mean.

And seriously - Henry still goes to Swellview Jr High?
