Alternate ending on Blu-Ray?

Is there an alternate or extended ending on Blu-Ray?

Wikipedia includes this info:
However, in an extended scene, Evan arrives at the girls' house, putting on black gloves. He walks up to the house where the girls are inside torturing their latest victim. Upon hearing the sound of knocking they both tense up and ask: "Who's there?"

Is this true? I rented the movie on iTunes and it didn't have this ending.

There is no alternate ending; just the usual made up stuff on Wikipedia

Evan kills the 2 girls and changes his name. This movie is the prequel to John Wick.

That's BS. The alternate is still an open ended ending. SUCH BS. Show him killing them...then we know.

The alternate ending is included in the Blu-Ray, I've seen it. I actually prefer this ending to the theatrical release.

That ending is infinitely better. The villains of the movie should pay for their crimes more than the hero should.

reply

I own it. Yep. That's the alternate ending.

Hey rubirub,

I just watched this movie on Netflix DVD (non blu-ray) and the alternate ending was included in the special features just as you described.

"There is a power beyond good and evil. The power to create and the power to destroy."

It's also on the DVD in the special features section. Evan uses his pet tracker app to track the girls to the home of their latest victim and interrupts them in the final stage of torture before the "faked execution at dawn" he knocks on the front door and the girls stop in their tracks, Belle cuddles Monkey (Evan's stolen dog) while Genesis asks their victim (who has a bag over his head) if he's expecting company before they both chorus "who's there?" and the screen fades to black. For the record, I prefer this ending.

The alternate ending is on youtube. I prefer the original ending.

The ending exists, but clearly couldn't be used because the entire (flawed) premise is that the girls are actually justified, that the man is a monster and furthermore ALL MEN ARE MONSTERS which is why these girls are able to successfully go from house to house repeatedly doing this without ever getting caught (although they did murder the wife's art assistant who came to get the sculpture, so one would think the cops would shortly be involved). If they used this ending it would suggest the man is getting "justice" for being wronged, conflicting with what the movie wants to portray (that he got what he deserved for cheating, like all the other men did as well).
