Why do you think they did all this to him?

Seduce him at the start, before show up in the rain, misbehave at his dinner table, blackmail and threaten to accuse him of having underage sex with one of them, knock him out, tie him up, outright sexually assault him if well yes that r word in this case of a non-statutory female on male category, hit him and assault him physically, threaten to kill him, torture him via sound volume increases and headphones etc, and of course bury him and add that YouTube (sorry, Facebook) video insertion and also vandalize his home.

What was their motivation, were they just insane or also driven to it and was he just an inevitably easy target for them, cheers.

I like to believe that they were raped when little girls or something like that

Well...

PARTIALLY that is true (Actress Ana De Armas in the commentary states that her character was a victim of this) but even so...

Why do all this to his character and what were they hoping to achieve beyond taking out an aggression and him simply being an easy target?

And I understand what you mean Truth but also, and that's just me, but I kind of feel uncomfortable stating that out loud like that but could say in my own way "partially because, they were also victims or one of them was, of this kind of abuse" and maybe later they decided to form this gang as they were driven crazy as a result etc.

In the original Austrian film "Funny Games" (1997) by Michael Haneke with a similar premise albeit with male antagonists (Peter and Paul), one of the issues raised and points made was that they had no real motive OR cause or original factor that drove them to that state and caused them to take the family hostage and play sadistic and deadly games with them.

But here...
