End of last episode of Season 4

I hate that Debbie Horsfield felt the need to alter the wonderful conversation between Ross and Demelza at the end of The Angry Tide in which Ross expresses his fears about life's future uncertainties and Demelza in her ever-present wisdom tells him exactly what he needs to hear to deal with it. This portion of the book is perfection, and I think about it often. It's a valuable life lesson.

However, that perfect conversation was altered and shifted around until it doesn't resemble the original at all. There are plenty of other much less crucial moments when she left Winston Graham's words as is. Not at this moment. I'm not one of these purists that an adaptation can't change anything, but in this one perfect conversation full of so much meaning I guess I am.
