. . . I love the 3 actors, Anton, Alia, & Zoey - so I tolerated the whole movie even tho' the story sorta dragged - and had too much unecessary stuff.
For example - the scenes with Shane & Ned's car rental girl added nothing to the MOVIE whatsoever -
a few scenes like that could've been left out in order to have other scenes to tell me more about Langella's character Tim, who was much, much more interesting.
While I loved the mystery, mystical, and narration, and the basic good karma-bad karma story, more about Tim woulda been great and probably really enhanced the whole film.
DO you suppose the info was in the novel, and the bloody directors are afraid to bore us by having it in the movie...??
Yet, they don't mind putting in a many other unecessary, go-no-where-add-nothing scenes. . .
