Whats the point of this movie?

Hi,

I don't get it, is it a critic to the las vegas pd?

Or is it something like "dont ever back out at the last minute" kind of thing

I just dont get it, I liked the movie but the ending was terrible, obvious and unsatisfying.

yeah, it's a well written, directed and acted movie(well, Cage was loonie, but still added some unsettlingy funny things to this character), but it has no meaning. There is no message, no metahpor, no nothing.

I agree 100%! Ending was terrible. What was the point exactly?

The ending ruined this movie.....absolutely horrible and made me so very mad

It seems to be something of a morality fable. As the title of the film suggests, it's all about trust. He didn't trust the man he should have and trusted the girl he shouldn't have and paid the ultimate price.

Pick the people you trust wisely.

Still... I don't think the execution was well done.

I agree with all the other posters in this thread. It was a fun style of film but some of the decisions of the characters were strange towards the end.

Maybe it's an allegory but if so it's making me think to much to understand what it's saying.

It's this.

The people saying there is no message to the ending are wrong, there clearly is a message
