Good write-up about him on Wikipedia

He was no where near as good looking as the actor portraying him. Those people, especially the women, were so delusional. I feel sorry for all of them (at least most of them)....

The movie was good & Tony Goldwyn did a fine job, but he wasn't slimy enough. After you see and hear the real guy, as creepy as Tony Goldwyn was, he just wasn't creepy enough. However it was a great Lifetime effort. They've been doing a good job for a couple years now.

Religious clowns deserve the insanity they pursue.
I feel sorry for the kids who never had a choice but to live this ridiculous life.

5 bucks says Warren Jeffs now knows what it's like to say NO, and get screwed anyway.
Who wouldn't have LOVED to have been there to cheer on his rapists?!
Warren Jeffs is a sick, twisted predator getting all he deserves.

Couldn't put it better.
This was a well-done movie, despite largely being a series of horrifying and outrageously disturbing acts of pure evil. It's one of those stories that SHOULD by all means be a work of dark fiction, but is so warped that it's actually true. The fact that so many still revere that ill excuse for a man is mind-boggling. Severe mental illness is the only real explanation.
Of course everyone's right that Goldwyn's too good-looking to resemble the real Jeffs, but like the rest of the cast, he did a great job. He at least captured the slimy, squicky, sleazy scuzzballness that was called for.
