what the heck happened to the Millennium Falcon?

in Solo: the ship looks like a band new clean ship. but in Star Wans ep: 4-8: the ship looks like a old dirty nasty ship.

what happened? what did Han Solo do the Millennium Falcon?

reply

Thought the same thing. The Solo in this movie is in his early twenties and Solo in A New Hope is probably ten years older. I guess Han really wore that ship out over a decade.

Maybe in his universe, the galactic equivalents of the border patrol and customs agents pay less attention to grubby old vehicles, and not more?

Or maybe he just wants them to underestimate the ship's speed.

Lack of talent.

The original trilogy was lighting in a bottle, a incredible team of talented people. That included the people who made the decoration or the ships. One of the great thing in SW is that it looked real, not some fake scifi papier-maché.

Not anymore.

You can even compare the original movie, where it looks real:

Versus Force Awakens, where it looks like a videogame

Obviously, in Solo it just went worse.
