"The Last Jedi Effect" is real and this film is proof

There you have it--a crap opening that is certain to disappoint Disney. This film had everything riding against it: turmoil on set, miscast actor for Han Solo, poor marketing and coming off the most divisive Star Wars movie of all time: The Last Jedi.

The Last Jedi Effect is real and this is proof.

Moral of the story here, Disney? Don't FUCK with the original Star Wars fanbase because, like it or not, we are your bread and butter--not some non-existent "new generation of fans" you think you're catering to. Kids don't care about Star Wars nowadays. Not enough, at least.

Vote with your wallets, people--it's ultimately the ONLY thing that Disney understand or cares about...because they certainly don't care about us Star Wars fans.

I agree. The fans they should care about are the original fans of the original movies. I haven't seen Solo and I'm not sure I even want to. I wasn't too crazy about The Force Awakens, but I hated The Last Jedi. Hated it. They're messing with a great series. With Solo, they're messing with a great character. I know Han Solo is a tough role to step into after Harrison Ford. Tough act to follow. I know. But that doesn't mean Ehrenreich wasn't a terrible choice. I guess that just goes to show what happens after you meet Spielberg at a Bat Mitzvah.
