You could tell that Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Amber Theisen wanted to leave.

I remember when Ms. Berkley did Showgirl she wanted to get rid of the good girl character of playing Jesse. This also goes for Tiffany Amber Theisen. She left to do 90210. I watched Ms. Theisen in Son In-Law. I am also surprised that it was not mentioned that Ms. Theisen use to date Green who was on 90210.

Need to add that Tiffany and Brian did a movie together call she fought alone and like Tiffany in Son Inlaw

Lara Croft Himiko! The First Sun Queen! This is Yamatai.

I know that Elizabeth and Tiffani didn't want to extend their contracts to break out into other roles.

I loved her in She Fought Alone! I always wanted Valerie and David to work out on 90210, not David and Donna. haha.

If you watch the party scene closely, the guy who Tiffany is kissing looks like Brian Austin Green.

i think she did 90210 after the college years. I think she did other stuff during her break in saved by the bell when they brought tori to replace her and elizabeth

Didn't Tiffani Amber Theisen leave for that little bit because she started modeling again? She still did a few episodes here and there, with the Tori episodes being used to fill up the episode order. I think it was Elizabeth Berkley who desperately wanted to break away from SBTB the most and is why she jumped at the chance to be in Showgirls, which ended up pushing her career back even more.

Because sponges never have bad days.

Showgirls was the best and worst thing that happened to Elizabeth. It made her well known, but for the wrong reasons. I still don't know why she took that part. I heard the script was actually worse during the auditioning process before they changed it.

In the mid 90's no one was going to turn down a movie directed by Paul Verhoeven (Robocop, Basic Instinct & Total Recall) and written by Joe Eszterhas (Basic Instinct, Jagged Edge, Sliver & Flashdance). Basic Instinct (a hard R erotic thriller) has just made $350 million world wide.

I loved the roles that Tiffani and Berkley got in after Saved By the Bell.

Showgirls was an amazing movie and Berkley handled it well.

Tiffani did very well as Valerie filling Shannen Doherty's void very well when the show really needed it. Her TV movies were good too like She Fought Alone which was mentioned earlier was amazing.

My thing with both girls or any child actresses who are thrown into mega series like this very early in their career is that they find peace with their acting careers 20 years later and they both have from the way it sounds. A lot of time they end up struggling finding roles getting typed cast hard or decide to quit acting altogether and luckily that didn't happen to them.

LMFAO Showgirls was amazing...

If you treat a girl like a dog, she's going to piss on you

Elizabeth did "Showgirls" amost three years after doing Bell. Both Thiessen and Berkley left the show at the same time in 1991, three months before they wrapped the fourth and final season.

They both wanted to give pilot season a chance...with no luck.
Both kept working on episodic television before returing to the BELL set for the Hawaiian movie in summer 1992.

At that point, Thiessen decided to go back to Bell for the College season and Berkley kept looking for feature film roles, until she finally auditioned for "Showgirls" in 1994.

After leaving SBTB, Berkley did a couple episodes of Baywatch, playing a high school mean girl opposite Nicole Eggert.
