This movie should've shown The New Class and how DD held on to being Screech for as long as possible, despite his seeming desire to be looked at as something more.

Well, he didn't have a choice in the matter. He will always be Screech. He probably needed/wanted to work and if that meant playing Screech again then so be it.

Bianca Lawson could have played herself since she's still playing teenagers apparently.
