Our Minds aren't like a video camera

Our minds aren't like a video camera.I've done a lot of research on human memory online,and it's NOT very reliable.

Memories are divided into parts:Auditory Memory,Visual Memory,Sensory Memory,etc.

Since different parts of out brains are responsible for all out senses,these part are stored in their appropriate sections.

When we remember something our Minds take all the different parts and form a whole memory.

Like I said:Not very reliable.

IN FACT,as we learn and experience new things our Minds alter our past memories.So we actually have a lot of false memories in our Minds.

Taking all of this into account,I have to wonder.

How are they able to put together ACTUAL memories?There could be a ton of fake memories in the victims head!!!

Any thoughts?
