Warlock to be a player??

Ideally, Warlock (as Him) needs to show up soon. If they are going to have him be "born/created" on Earth, then travel to space (High Evolutionary meeting) to have the clout to step in to lead all those alpha-type heroes to victory over Thanos. There are a couple ways to do it...have Thor's end credit scene be a flashback of him meeting a freshly reborn Him. Thor could be drawn in by some emmense power. They could recreate the comics by Thor's hammer just bouncing off of Him's chest. He could then just fly off to space. At some point they would need to wane him power. Or they could put him as a main story thread in the Infinity War I; being immature, and at the climax, having the epiphany he is the chosen protector of the universe by the abstract Gods. He has been alive in many forms, since the creation of this universe.

I don't think they are going to use Adam Warlock at all. I think they have already set up Vision to fill that void in Avengers Age of Ultron. To a somewhat lesser extent that is. Plus they'll have Doctor Strange by then.

reply

It would be a tragedy if they don't use Adam Warlock.

reply

Well they have teased the cocoon twice(Thor 2 credit and GOTG). I hope he appears in some way, maybe in the after credit scene of this we see a shadow or the cocoon opening. We know they didn't cast anyone for him yet that looks like him.

I can see Warlock appearing in IW,Captain Marvel, and the Avengers (2019).

I don't know why people think that Vision is replacing Adam Warlock. Vision has the YELLOW STONE on his forehead. Adam Warlock has the GREEN STONE. They are two different gems with different powers.

Green stone has SOUL ABSORBING POWERS....yellow stone has telepathic powers.

Doctor Strange and Ayesha are the ones I think could replace Adam Warlock if 20th century Fox owns Adam Warlock. If not I believe we will be seeing Adam Warlock in Infinity War or Phase 4.

reply

Doctor strange has the green one. The concept art made it a huge giveaway.

That is why I said that I believe Doctor Strange or Ayesha may be the one replacing Adam Warlock. Not Vision.

Also concept art shows green stone, called the Eye of Agamotto. I agree that it is green Infinity Stone, but still nothing is for sure until movie is out or MCU announces it.

News and articles are saying it is the Time Infinity stone, which should be orange. Seems like they are wrong.

reply

They messed the colors all up. I think the teseract was originally just a Cosmic Cube. Then they decided to make it a gem...whatever but they should delve more and play into the very distinct powers they give whomever possesses them.

reply

Thanks for informing. They really confused me with that. Glad Doctor Strange doesn't get Soul gem. But rumor is Soul gem will be in Thor movie. Warlock may not be showing up the way we expect it. Possible his soul is trapped in gem (like cartoon, or Magus comic) or he'll show up without gem. Really hard to guess if gem is in Thor.

Fox may own Adam Warlock, his first appearance in Fantastic Four.

Hopefully MCU has rights to Adam Warlock. I would rather seem him in MCU movie over Fantastic Four.

reply

Can anyone point out a website where it states Fox owns Warlock?

Just because a character appeared in a certain comic means nothing. They just sold rights to groups or individual characters. I have not read these exclusive rights encompass sub/support characters.

Technically, the cocoon is in FF4 but Him (before High Evolutionary proclaims as Adam Warlock) makes debut in Thor. Thor chuks Mjolnir just to have the hammer bounce off of Him's chest. Later comics, Thor becomes infuriated and pummels Him. Then Him Flys off to space.

I own all of these comics.

Semper fi,
Luke

reply

really hope strange has the time gem, not soul

reply

Yeah, Warlock is the opposite side of the coin as Thanos. Warlock was the star or a pivotal character of all of the Infinity gauntlet/war/crusades/ cosmic cubes adventures with Thanos. It would be like Batman with no Joker, FF4 without Doom, or superman with no Lex. A little straying from original content is expected and worthwhile, but no Warlock would be idiotic and disrespectful to the original content writers and artists?

I think "replacing" is a poor word choice on my part. I just can't see how in a movie that you'd need to have 2 artificial men with Infinity stones. There's not going to be much screen time. And you're already going to have an army of movie stars. As much as I like Adam Warlock I just can't see the need for him.
I missed that they were bringing in Ayesha. Given that they are trying to be more diverse it would make sense to have her fill any other void left by Adam Warlock. I actually like that idea.

I do not give a $hit what Warlock's bio says on the Marvel website says about him being artificially created. That is wrong! Apparently they do not care to read their own product or talk to Jim Starlin. In multiple references they say he was created with the universe, is chosen by the Abstracts(gods) as their champion for a reason, even that he is the soul of the universe or the heart of other parallel universes. That is bad ass! Read Warlock Chronicles he has manifested in many forms over the millennia.

Wish I had an ORANGE gem. I'd travel back in time and stop me from ever sharing my theories or ideas on this post.

reply

That is a 2015 rumor.

reply

Sorry fixed point in time.

reply

2015? Rumor? Uh no. The orange Time Gem has been around much longer than that. It has been part of the continuity for some time. Do you even read the comics Ladydudepull?

No not that orange gem.... Vision "filling" in for Adam Warlock.
