Jean-Marc Vallee (Wild, Dallas Buyers Club) has signed onto direct all seven episodes of the Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon-headlined limited series, the pay cabler announced Thursday.

When does it debut? And what competetion is it facing in terms of other shows? TV viewers have a lots, i mean lots and lots, of choice with regard to content compared to cinemagoers. It has to pull out all stops to attract and keep viewer hooked i think.

They havent started filming yet, premiere date TBD. It is going to be on HBO and HBO cares about the number of people who pay for their channel and watch their shows legally. Live viewing, DVR viewer, HBO on demand, HBO GO, I am sure they would love if all of the viewers watch it live on HBO but they dont have commercials, it does not really matter when viewers watch one of their shows.

Reese confirmed filming starts in January. I think it will most likely debut next fall.

It is filming now in LA.

I have read about a November release twice. Sounds like enough time.

Awesome, thanks for the share. I've only seen Wild from him, but was really impressed by his direction and especially editing in the film.

November is really far-off. I guess it wud kill the hype by that time, unless ofcouse the show is so good nobody wants to miss it. It is not Star wars!!
