Best POS to waste my time.

Likewise your non post.

What does that even mean?

reply

Well, most of the main cast has been nominated (Kidman, Dern, Witherspoon, Woodley and Skarsgard).

As well as outstanding limited series, directing and writing.

Pretty solid!

Mina, I like your post much better than the one directly above it! I'm sooooo sorry this top-quality production wasted her time and made her think-part hurt. *It hurt! It really, really hurt! Well, it did. So there!*

I am very pleased that Skarsgard got a nomination. He earned it.

Mina, the fact that you would share this information with me, and post here so many weeks after the end of th the show, means a lot to me. Thank you, my intelligent and always interesting, friend.

They all earned it! I'm glad most for Witherspoon, she's really transforming herself as an actress, and as a producer.

Also the director here (looks like it was just one person), is the same guy that directed Wild. Another great, different performance from Witherspoon there.

Top-notch production all-around.

P.S. You're welcome R_Kane! I always enjoy our interactions :). Also, unlike AG, this show is something that we both actually really like, so it's worth it coming back.

Class will always tell, my esteemed Mina.

Don't forget Laura, Reese and Shaleene. Good performances from the entire cast.
I just finished the first episode and agree with the nominations. I'm so impressed with Reese though. I identify so much with her character. I know women like that in real life. She plays that character convincingly giving it a 110%. I hope she wins the award.

reply

So, the winners are out.

Outstanding limited series
Kidman for Lead Actress in a Miniseries
Skarsgard for Supporting actor in a limited series
Outstanding directing for Vallée
Dern for Supporting actress in a limited series

/Hopefully I haven't missed anyone/

Five wins out of eight? nominations. That's pretty great!

It is so gratifying when quality is recognized, acknowledged, appreciated and embraced. I am convinced that it makes the world better.

And, by the same token, having a steadfast friend, of whom Mina Vladimir is a most welcome one, does the same.

This project was a triumph.
