All through the episodes, her accent kept slipping....
shareI noticed that too. Also she is such a cautious actress and always seems to be self conscious about her looks. She holds back showing emotions and instead holds her face in model like pouts and poses.

I thought she was excellent, but as with any performance that is widely praised, you’re always going to get a few people who brand it as overrated. In any case I doubt a few naysayers will take the shine off all the awards she collected for it.
Finished it ... I thought her acting was amazing, as was Alexander Skarsgård, the guy who played her abusive husband. You really have to wonder what gets into someone who calls a fantastic acting job like that "over-rated", especially because of her accent. Who's to say where her character has lived or what her life's history was, or what her character's speaking influences were? It's purely stupid.
Everyone involved in that production was top-notch. Great story, great characters, great directing ... all around a very good series. I started it on a whim thinking I'd probably only be able to take less than half and episode, but I binged watched it for 3 days.
It cannot be easy performing a role like that, what is someone's wrongly perceived accent slip-ups anyway. Something wrong with someone who makes a comment like that.
