Just announced today. Apparently it will focus on Lestat.

I hope it will be just as good as the other seasons. Claudia kind of slowed things down in season 2. She's gone now.

It will probably be much better with the main focus on Lestat.

I love Lestat. But I like Louis also. I only read the first book. Are they going to add origibal material now or start on the other books in the series?

So far they were largely faithful to the main plot points of the book, so I guess it will stay that way.

I didn't mind Claudia, but the 2nd actress was a little better than the first. While not an exact adaptation of the book or the movie, I think Louis here is not as depressing as he was in the Cruise movie which makes it more enjoyable to watch. Also Sam Reid is just terrific as Lestat. If the series was just about his version of the character, I would be fine with that.

It is supposed to be an adaptation of "The Vampire Lestat". So there probably should not be any appearances by Louis, but I imagine they will find a way to add more. Probably we will get more Claudia as well.

Louis will be featured heavily in the upcoming season. This was confirmed.
