How is this eligible as foreign language movie?

I have seen it and there is as much English as German.

You need to read the Oscar rules carefully.

It's clearly defined how much of a foreign language must appear in the movie.

German was the dominant language.

English and Romanian was spoken, too, but not as much.

I completely agree... this barely felt like a foreign LANGUAGE film. I feel like at least as much English was spoken as German and it'd be interesting to have someone count/time It out

percentage breakdown, I'd say 70% German 20% English & 10% Romanian. English was definitely not spoken as much as German.

Absolutely. I don't need subs for English, whereas I do for German and Romanian and spent virtually the whole film reading.

There's a pretty considerable amount of English, but there is more German.
