The second season of this is starting next month, and still I haven't really seen one single promo or a trailer for the second season. Yet the CW has been promoting the hell out of their upcoming shows & their DC comics shows, even constantly showing promos reminding everyone that the last seasons of Arrow, Supergirl & The Flash are on home video right now. To me it feels like the CW doesn't really care much about this show.
shareI'm assuming they've already essentially deemed it dead. It was the lowest rated show on broadcast prime time last year, and it's a miracle the show was renewed for a season 2. They aren't confident that any amount of promotion other than the Emmy win will turn the ratings around, so they aren't wasting money on promoting it.
Plus, with it's low rating, it likely netted them very little money, so there's less money to spend on promotion.
Those are my thoughts anyways.
Since its premiere on Netflix I think the rating will go up a lot
shareYeah, I've gotta admit i'm disappointed as well. I started the show on Netflix, and i'm so excited to see it once Season 2 airs. I'm going to be watching it definitely, but i don't have hope the show will last for that long unless the CW is generous and lets it go on but it's not a big ratings buff for them so i'm worried, and CW is all about the Superheroes. If it's not a superhero show, it's not getting advertisement.

Though of course, more promos would be nice too.
