James Gunn’s DCU casting

For a Justice League, I would pick the animated series lineup to distance itself from the DCEU lineup, I do think the other could appear down the line m, but not soon

David Corenswet - Clark Kent/Superman

Theo James- Bruce Wayne/Batman

Naomi Scott as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman

Trevante Rhodes- John Stewart/Green Lantern

George McKay - Barry Allen/The Flash

Samara Weaving - Shayara Hol/Hawkgirl


David Oyelowo - J’onn J’onnz/Martian Manhunter

Other members who I would cast

Glen Powell - Hal Jordan/Green Lantern

Jacob Latimore - Victor Stone/Cyborg

Luke Bracey - Arthur Curry/Aquaman (or older than Alexander Skarsgaard as Aquaman)

Charlie Hunnam- Oliver Queen/Green Arrow

Gunn said that Batman will be an integral part of his DCU but it won’t Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton or Robert Pattinson, but I could see him be a more Nick Fury figure, but would be between his 30s-40s. Both Gadot and Momoa weren’t easy ones to replace. Again I don’t see Aquaman joining the League early on, maybe for a sequel. I do think Gunn would go young with most of these actors, but I threw in some establishmened stars like Theo James, Hunnam, Powell, Weaving, etc
