'Avengers: Infinity War' vs 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom'. Who wins the box office both Domestically and Worldwide?

It's round 2 baby! The two obvious juggernauts of 2018. Here is their 2015 clash. No one saw JW making such a huge amount but you should never underestimate nostalgia and excellent marketing.

'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' won't have the benefit of nostalgia anymore and the hook of the park finally opening won't be used this time around. Will audiences be less interested in what essentially looks like another disaster CGI flick with a dreary colour palette. Having said that, never underestimate the general audiences desire for Dinosaur films. The Youtube/Facebook trailer views are at a so-so 32M/24M so a drop is expected but by how much.

'Avengers: Infinity War' is the culmination of 10 years of world building and finally everyone is going to see Thanos in action against everyones favourite heroes. The hype for this film is quite surreal with Youtube/Facebook trailer views of 98M/67M. It's the type of event where people who haven't seen all MCU films are willing to partake in. It's going to be huge but by how much is the question.

Keep in mind that 'Avengers: Infinity War' has weak competition before it's release unlike 'Avengers:Age of Ultron' that had to deal with 'Furious 7' being an event in itself. It'll also open a week earlier internationally, so it'll get a 3/4 weeks free run. 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' on the other hand has the Han Solo movie, Deadpool and the Incredibles 2 before it's release which are all $100M+ openers. Not to mention the Ant-Man sequel opens 2 weeks after which will get the Avengers boost. The summer competition is extra fierce in 2018.

How does everyone seeing them both performing? Who comes on top in this colossal battle between Disney and Universal?

Jurassic World rode on nostalgia, but was only a mediocre flick, though enjoyable. I don't think the second JW will have the same success.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently riding on the hype train of the previous movies and the huge popular cast - and only thing able to stop it from winning this, is it being an actual bad/mediocre movie.

Avengers: Infinity War. By far.

While Jurassic World was a huge success, the sequel has nowhere near the hype of Infinity War. Sure you can’t underestimate the Fallen Kingdom, but Infinity War will be THE must-see event of the year. The only thing that stands in Infinity War’s way, is underwhelming critic reviews. By even so, I bet Infinity War will come out on top.
