This movie would've just ended with the Avengers depressed, Tony still being alive with his daughter and wife, and everyone having mad sex to re-populate the universe if the rat didn't hit the switch to get Ant-Man out. Dr. Strange banked so hard on it along with Star Lord's stupidity.
PS: Anyone notice Howard The Duck in the final scene after the portals opened?
Actually if they didn't bring back the snapped would have been better since over population is a real problem nowadays

shareThat's a good point. Thanos did say that if he didn't halve the population, it would bring ruin like it did to his home on Titan. It would've interesting to see what comes of Earth and the other planets in the universe once it starts going into ruin due to overpopulation and the lack of finite resources to sustain them. Would be hilarious if his premonition came true and more deaths occurred throughout the universe and Cpt. Marvel couldn't go to all of them to bring peace. He didn't touch the animals since there's a self-regulating ecosystem in place by nature.
