White rose machine theory

A theory about White rose machine.
It doesn't work. It is a reference to the modern populist politicians promising things to be the way they used to, striking everyone's deepest nostalgic emotions. Like Trump is doing with his MAGA campaign, or European populists with promises of white Europe and protected local industries. They all offer something unrealistic, but very attractive, like a time machine. They use it to get fanatics that will do anything for them. To get power.

White Rose uses it in the same way. Dark army members are killing themselves believing in it. There is no greater weapon than people willing to die for you. Even Angela has been turned by it.
In reality it doesn't work. It's sole use is to help the Deus group keep power.

But White Rose believes in it, that's why she is so persuasive. A fantastic villain.

Since the series is inspired by "The Matrix" and some even claim it was meant to be a secret prequel to that movie, I think that White rose machine is actually the first prototype of the Matrix - a way to transfer human consciousness to a virtual world.

Looks like I was right. :)

You mean "fan theory" claims?

For me the 'whiterose-machine' is a lose end.

Angela 'saw it' and got convinced - and it was never ever revealed what this machine actually is.
I think this is a negative for my viewing pleasure.

For me the ending was kinda the episode where they managed to hack the Deus Group out of the money.
The last episode 2parter was bringing a new topic and a little goodbye time, closing it up with the 'mental disorders' topic.
It also for me went a bit into 'season2- dream sequenzes style' - which i don't like too much, but well.

All in all i really really liked this TV-Series. Except season 2. Season 4 for me had some excellent episodes where i was glued to the screen and being in suspense.
