The plot twist in 407 makes me glad this show bombed so hard

It’s almost as if everyone could sense Sam Esmail’s sick, twisted nature and ran as far away as they possibly could from this show.

Elliot, the main hero of the show, conjures up “Mr. Robot” in his head to fight crime through computer hacking.
And you have “Mr Robot” turn out to be Elliot’s abuser from his childhood?!!!!!

You have the flagship hero, the title of your series, be a child abuser?!?!?!

Who the heck wants to see their child abuser be glorified as their soul guardian, your “protector”. Sounds more like the sick fantasy of a predator than the broken mental state of a victim.


Sam must’ve lost it when the ratings nose-dived and a 5th season was a no go. He took it out on his own show in the worst way possible. :(
