Still no sign of the aliens
Just watched E8 of S2 and still no idea of what the aliens look like.

The ambiguity surrounding the aliens will hopefully be cleared up soon. I rather doubt it though. There have been hints they're humans from the future, 'aliens' completely unlike our human form who have come to Earth now, and aliens who have been here before.

No. The problem was, they couldn't get the suit open. Nothing they had including torches and laser cutters could slice open any part of it in the time they had. So even though the alien was right there on the table (and it's now been confirmed on the show that it was indeed dead) they still never got a glimpse of what's hiding under the helmet. All they were able to do was detach that gauntlet device.
shareThis theory that the aliens are humans from the future I believe is not being favored any longer, due to interviews with the show creators where they did confirm that the aliens are aliens. As in, ETs. By the way, there are screen shots of the dead alien in the subway that appear to show only three fingers.
shareYeah, I saw the various angles. The other theories were within the first season. Snyder has said he's seen their 'face'. It left me wondering though why he couldn't have at least described what he saw just a little bit. My hope is that the writers don't leave the question open while dropping the viewers like a hot potato. It's be nice before closing to have the show completely explained. Unlike novels, I've said "Well, Bless America!" far to many times when a show ends, stringing us along, then BAM! finished.
