Don't you think it is a silly way to settle an accusation of rape, a duel to the death in which the loser is declared the liar, and if the accuser loses not only does he die, but his wife is placed in armor and burned at the stake? So medieval.

Just as they declared it was not possible to conceive a child from a rape without pleasure. It's science.

Seems like a solid system they had going for themselves.
