Mercy is The Witch or at least A Witch

This whole movie is about the making of "the witch" and you can see it from a mile away . . . at that was the bate and switch.

Mercy and possibly her brother Jonas are witches . . . or witch and warlock.

Consider:

Mercy admits to talking with Black Phillip when she is in kid jail with Thomasin.

She straight up says it! In the scene by the brook she strait up says, "I am the witch of the wood". This iss supposed to be a foreshadowing scene for Thomasin (and it is) but it was for Mercy as well as both are witches.

If you listen to the annoying song that Jonas and Mercy sing it states that "we are your servants" and that Black Phillip was the Lion that was in the den with Daniel in the biblical story a.k.a. Satan. Mercy knew Black Phillip was Satan but chose to serve him anyway.

Even though the movie is entitled "The Witch" there are multiple witches at the end. There is no reason why Mercy cannot be a witch too.

You're right. Also, Thomasin doesn't seem to have been a Witch until the end.
