season 2 will have a wendy problem

she either is the wife soon to be ex distracting chuck because of a very nasty divorce or she is the wife distracting chuck while they're trying to rebuild their marriage.

how can they make wendy interesting in season 2, if they have to divorce, i hope there is a time jump and when season 2 starts, the divorce is done!

Why do you feel there will be a nasty divorce. He won't challenge her or ask for money and I don't think she will make him suffer with there kids. I don't see another man getting to heavy in the plot with her and his kids. The more I think about It I really don't get why they can't work things out.

reply

that is the only way she can stay relevant in that story, nasty divorce or trying to work things out. Otherwise now that she doesn't work at axe capital she is not relevant to the story anymore...

i see her having a liaison with the handsome boyish headhunter

Sure if he is into weird sex because I don't think it's all the husband.

i am not saying her relationship with him will be great, but she can try... but at this point, in battle between axe and chuck what role does Wendy play?

Unless Chuck brings himself to subpoena his ex-wife to force her to testify against axe, which i am sure she can't legaly do.

I like the actress, but her role should be very minor and be some kind of b or c story of the show, not the main one.

reply

Do you think there is a chance to give Axe's wife an expanded role. I hope there is a chance for this actress to step out the background. I like Mag. as an actress but I found her character to be unrealistic, from the weird sex life to the head shrink for Axe and co.

Who says they are divorcing?

reply

Yeah, I fear they're going to be forcing her into the next season in some artificial way. We've seen way too many TV shows with this problem.

It felt like her character was forced from the beginning, weird sex partner husband who is desperately trying to bust her boss whom has his own issues. For drama she finds faults in her husband and gets angry with exaggerated things she all of a sudden hates.

Those things were a starting point there was more but you get my drift, Her and Chuck was a cliche ending with he may lose her...with a stay tuned vibe to it.

I can already guess she will be some kind of investigative character next season.

I think she'll have an affair with the female trader who left for another firm after one of their sessions. Then Wendy called her one night from home.
