Wendy's rude awakening

I just watched the new episode of Billions today and what surprised me was the scene from the man who was sent from the Medical Board and that Wendy's license now is in question. This was a surprise to me because this show in now 4 seasons has given the character of Wendy so much praise and some even hold her up as role model. I remember in the first season, how she treated Chuck.; there was one scene when one night Chuck was walking by an S&M place and his addictions got triggered, then he called Wendy, who is also engaging in her husband's fetish addiction and even told Chuck to go inside and" take the phone with you and take me in with you".

When I was just watching that scene and was thinking that people go to doctors like Wendy; to
help them change that behavior and here she is enabling her own husband. Would a doctor in A rehab if they get a call and say I am by drug house and I need help? so would any counclior or doctor tell him; just go in and I be on the phone and walk you threw it. I already felt the scene was written that to expose more of Wendy's arrogance, but that was also never questioned and I recall I posted something about it on that chat board to question her as a doctor and I got attacked for it, that she knows what she was doing, that is her husband, that Wendy is the voice of logic in the show, and that statement alone just blew my mind? that how someone can read that into Wendy's actions? and every time someone did point out something wrong Wendy said, then her FANBOY and Women's lib would come out with a mission to defend her.

In the last two seasons alone I have grown to hate and dislike Wendy even more, in how she treats Chuck like her dog, she always blames him even though she makes suggestion to keep sex addiction going at Home; but she feels its not Home and let sell the House. And Chuck for whatever reason keeps obeying his master Wendy, until he went Public about his sex life and exposing Wendy, this pillar of community of AXE; the person who is suppose to set an example, finally the curtains dropped and Wendy's first rude awakening to this role she has been playing was exposed; but it was another way to punish Chuck; she throws him out of his bedroom.
She has been an element of support of many other immoral behaviors at AXE to justify his staff and even to Axe on private sessions to justify that some in the psychiatry field would consider AXE and his staff to be a in subcategory of psychopaths; but Wendy was is dedicated to these people she even fought with Chuck as to why he is going after Axe and his criminal acts? She even broke off with Chuck and went and slept with another guy, but she justified that to herself too and so did her supports whom I guess need a role model and its sad day that Wendy to be even thought of that, even choice of words "get with it people or get Fucked". I guess how all the educated high profile doctors who like in the upper crust of NY speak to their staff?

But in the last week alone finally first with Murfee's outburst calling her "Garbage" which is what I thought of her from the first season, now the result of her illegal actions; that she admitted to Axe she created her own plan in the revenge circle of Axe again, by using personal information of Taylor's file, that is suppose to be private and used it to serve her to her sick revengeful boss; but what is even more interesting that she feels she is the victim?. To walk up and question Taylor was the prime example of how selfish and how blind she is to her actions; that is also related to psychopathic behavior. For her to surprised that her actions wont have any consequences or that she is somehow had the right to do that to Taylor; because is a war and she chose to join that war instead of stopping it. The look on her face and feeling that she is surprised she was reported is what speaks volume about her character; who took an oath as a doctor in a profession that people come to share the most inner secrets or traumas of childhood and for a bitch like Wendy, instead of to try to stop AXE and his immature revenge on Taylor, she joins the psychopaths whom would justify their actions and Wendy is then surprise that she the Govt is may now take her licence?.
Suddenly Wendy's world ever since Chuck went public is taking a different turns and I was hoping for something like her job and her work at AXE is what may bring that twist in the road. the rude awakening to Wendy to who she really is, she has been in denial of her actions, the scene with Taylor instead of a apology to her, she was questioning it as to why is how Wendy plays it and until Chuck stands up for himself and stop taking orders and just allowing her to run the show; when any marriage is about union of trust and friendship. when one person tells the other person that they are going to sell their HOUSE before and not make the decision and blame Chuck for her selling the house and until this slave and master stops.

It is fiction. And pretty entertaining, don't you agree?

reply

Yes its entertaining just from the performance stand point.
Yes its fiction but what is this show's intention in general about the theme of of the story
they are telling? I am not trying to be rude to you, but cable companies love to have customer or
people, like yourself; who watch shows purely for its entertainment"; they don't care that this show's
characters and their behavior of plans of vengeance and other action that people like AXE do are WRONG?
We are in the fourth season now, but there is no arc in this tale?. it just now Chuck and Axe , two scums bags
with power and money joined forces to do more wrong and just let it go.
I think about the writers of this show who create these characters whose behavior is based on ego and
vengeance, along with Axe's staff that that just follow like dump Sheep to work for a psychopath like AXE and
whom has no connection to real Life. So most people can seat back like yourself and call this shit " entertaining", and without even thought that a show that its now in its 4th season and has really no much change in terms of story; the cast and production value is the that expensive wrapping paper that keeps the show on the air, but it really is a failure as show and has empty in content and value, I just feel I could have done a better job in than the writers who could have worked on other characters and their daily struggle and how that would have made this show so much fuller and with layers that each episode would get more and more impact on its audience to use a seedy group of people and how their actions effect other people.

No arc? The slow teardown of the Rhoades marriage, the vengeance of Bobby and Chuck vs Taylor&the Kurgan is enough. I would love some more lies and sleazeballship in fiction, where it belongs only.
