...should I bother with this movie? I actually enjoy suspenseful religious flicks, anything from a possession incident to the Left Behind series. Is 90 Minutes in Heaven an honest attempt or 90 minutes used to get people to convert?

I am a Christian, and I'm sorry I wasted my time on this.

The religious message is pretty muted. There is next to no mention of what the NDE he had, (and the point of him writing a book) consisted of.

It was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Battlefield Earth was better.

It has 8 out of 9 positive reviews. I think you should see the movie. It is not the type of movies that will try to convert you or anything similar. It is a story about a men who had bad accident, and about his family..

Blatant (willful) disinformation. This film has 6 negative reviews, 3 mixed and 0 positive for a miserable score of 28/100 in metacritic.

I don't see why not. All of the movies you watch are (presumably) fictional. Why should this be any different?

Well I believe in Jesus and God and Holy Spirit. I am NO Christian though. However, I am spiritual. And I don't believe in organized religion or any denomination. But when you get close to death or someone you know gets close to death or actually does die, kind of makes you see just how foolish it is to be so absolute about there being no GOD when there may just be one. You know...I never have seen God. But I have seen people change spiritually inside because of God or what they believe is GOD.

If anything, don't try to convert to any religion. Just open yourself up to possibilities of the truth of what may exist. Who said you have to convert to anything to be spiritual?

True spirituality is completely different than what Christianity actually looks like today. Messianic Jews are closer I believe to what Jesus was all about anyway. It's just about spirituality. Not religion. Religion is so deceptive.
