season 3???

i know that next week is the season finale.... with half of the cast affected by this deadly disease, are they possibly narrowing down the cast to bring in new first years by killing 1 of the first years and 2 of the second years or they gonna find a cure near the end and they are all saved.... we also know that ariel was brought back which i have a feeling that if she makes it out alive, leanne will probably adopt her or something like that.... yet in the previews for next week, we see leanne pass out so we don't know if it is from exhaustion or the disease itself

with all that being said, is there going to be a season 3 or will angels memorial's er be shut down for good

i am hoping they come back for season 3, we need a good medical show that stands alone.... code black reminds me of er and i loved er

i know they usually don't say if they are renewing shows until late april to early june.... it just seems like this next one is going to be open ended and we have to guess what happened

I hope it's not left in a huge cliffhanger - in case they do get cancelled. I know the ratings aren't great and its been said "most likely to get cancelled by May" but you never know. Plus, it's a owned show, so it has a shot.

Code Black is in the same boat as Elementary, but Code Black is a few ahead in the ratings, so if Elementary gets a renewal and Code Black does not - it would seem like favoritism is going on behind scenes.

I prefer Code Black over Elementary<I stopped watching that show.

they said that it was going to get canceled last year and then they add a few more shows to last season and then came back for season 2 so that is what i am hoping is going to happen..... code black is cbs's only medical show, right

Plus, it's a owned show, so it has a shot.

That is only partially true; it is co-owned by CBS and ABC; however, it is produced by ABC Studios. A lot depends upon contract negotiations between ABC and CBS.

The one thing that Code Black has going for it is that CBS wants a medical drama. With Genius tanking, the only thing they have is Code Black.

The average ratings are down since last year, Seitzman might not show he is worries but I am sure he is worried with those ratings, ratings are not the only factor but they are a big factor in deciding to renew a show last year the show barely was renewed and it had better ratings, I am sure this year will not be easier in renewing the show.

Well, yeah co-owned. But wouldn't that "help" Code Black's chances of a renewal?

There is a video on the Code Black Facebook with Luis Guzmán(Mama) saying will see us next year so it sounds like there is hope for a Season 3. Also there is one more episode for Season 2 on Feb. 8th..
