Now they are just starting to copy off of Grey's Anatomy....

The scenes for next weeks episode with the explosive in the girls leg basically mirrors an episode of Greys where a guy had something similar in his chest.....I really like Code Black, but that kind of annoys me...

Cardinal42 I rarely agree with you, but in this instance I wondered who Grey's stole it from? ER, MASH, or even some other show?

Television is now over 60 years old (trust me I have been there through most of it), there is no such thing as an original idea at this point.

Woah, no reason to get all pissy cardinal42, all I was saying was that it was such a clear copy of what happened on Grey's....I never said I would stop watching Code Black. Obviously they didn't do it to piss me off, it was just so obvious that it was the same story line. No need to jump down my throat, it's not that serious.

Although a comedy, MASH did something similar.

If you want to compare, this season there were episodes of Chicago med and Code Black that were about a woman going to the ER and turned out to be a transgender with prostate cancer. Not only was it the same storyline but they aired the same week and the transgender woman was played by the same actress!

I remember Dr Joel Goran in Saving Hope getting blown to bits while trying to get a bomb out of some poor guy's stomach. Now that's one hell of a way to kill off a main character :)

Grey's Anatomy is not the first medical drama. Get real. Where did Grey's rip off from?

I get the impression that Code Black is based on real-life events. It is totally possible that both Grey's Anatomy and Code Black "stole" the story from real life.
